Spend $50 to eat in a trash can to encourage people not to waste food

In order to encourage people to stop throwing away and wasting food, John Truehaft decided to create a unique food club in Brooklyn. People who participate in this exclusive club will have the opportunity to spend $50 to receive six courses on food and trash can residues, and can dine in a soon-to-be demolished trash can that can accommodate 20 people. Of course, in order to show that foods that are generally considered "unusable" are actually edible, the club's chefs will use overripe vegetables and fruits, such as overripe bananas or slightly blemished apricots, to create vegetarian meals created by the gastronomic institute. You might think that spending $50 on these meals is a bit of a waste, but all of the money will be donated to the non-profit cooking team. This unique gastronomic club will be held in August and the research will form part of John Truehaft's master's thesis.
