The world's tallest building will be built in Wuhan, China - Phoenix Tower

In China, there are already many tall landmark buildings in many big cities, such as Diwang Building, Kingkey 100, Guangzhou East Tower, Taipei 101 and other buildings. They are all skyscrapers. However, Wuhan, China is about to build the world's tallest twin towers, the Phoenix Tower. If completed, it will be a landmark building.

The twin towers were designed by British architectural designer Chetwoods. He named the pair of towers in a mythical style that means "Two Phoenixes". The taller one is named "Feng" and the lower one is named "Phoenix". Together they are called Phoenix Towers. The height of this tower is 1,000 meters, which is much higher than the current tallest building in the world - the 848-meter Burj Khalifa.

It is reported that the tower will cover an area of ​​7 hectares and is located on an island in the middle of a 47-hectare lake. Of course, the surrounding environment will also become an accessory scenic spot to the entire tower. Each of the two towers has its own characteristics. The taller one is inclined towards Wuhan's business district, and the other one faces the city's cultural and leisure areas. From an environmental perspective, the tower can recycle waste and generate its own electricity needs, while also delivering energy to its surroundings. Of course, it is also part of Wuhan’s lake environment green strategy.

However, at present, the "Phoenix Tower" project, which responds to Chinese architectural style, is still waiting for final approval from Wuhan City. Of course, if this project passes final approval, foundation laying will begin next year, and the total construction period is expected to be more than three years. If all goes well, in a few years we will see the world's tallest building blooming in China.
